Ticketmaster has developed a new supplemental ticket policy for buying tickets to NFL games and I’ve broken it down into 3 parts.
1) Cancelled/Postponed/Rescheduled Events
Ticketmaster is issuing refunds for cancelled events as is standard, but they have also added additional clauses to state that they will be able to cancel your ticket order should there be any changes to the seating chart as a result of COVID-19 (generally for bringing down the number of seats/having no fans at the game).
For postponed and rescheduled events, Ticketmaster does not require a refund to be issued to you, but rather they have an option to issue you one only. Therefore an event could be rescheduled and you may not have the option to get a refund if you can no longer make it to the event. This could pose potential problems but you will be able to still sell your tickets.
2) There are additional health and safety guidelines being introduced, specifically the NFL Fan Health Promise. You are agreeing to stay at home if you meet any of the criteria as laid out, and you also agree to maintain the ticket pod integrity. For ticket pod info, check out the following video:

3) A couple of general points – you are accepting the risks associated with attending the event as a result of COVID-19, and that you can also contact Ticketmaster with any questions you may have. Or…you can just leave a comment and I can do the work for you! 🙂
