  1. How can we avoid getting ripped off when buying plane tickets ?

    Don't fly

  2. Thank you very much for doing this and continuing the conversation, we all need as much information as possible to come to a resolution for this very hart felt issue.

  3. The mainstream bands get X amount no matter what. The bands management and the promoter cuts a deal of how much the band will get paid for each of the shows on the tour. The band doesn't make a dime off the ticket sales at all. They make a set fee for the show, plus whatever their merch sells. We have a independent venue where I live. They have major acts player there. Their tickets are always $35 in advance, and $40 the day of. If a independent can have bands like Clutch, Black Label Society, Ted Nugent, and others and only charge that much. Goes to prove that Ticketmaster is screwing us all.

  4. Ticketmaster is definitely shady.
