Went into a nearby location with a rewards coupon which had no limitations and was told that one week ago the policy was changed to restrict the coupon’s use to orders over $50. I mentioned that the rewards card had no such policy mentioned and the clerk said that they reserved the right to change the written policy.
I left the store and vowed to never purchase from them again which of course I will not. I then called their order line to tell them to remove my name from the mailing list. They did ask me why and I told them what ocured . “OK,” the gentleman replied. “We will remove your name as you request. Thank you.”
This attitude and lack of concern might explain why another local store was closed. This coupon was issued as an incentive to shop at the closest open store which incidentally was empty on a weekend day. I assume Omaha really doesn’t care about their loyal customers. It’s fine because there is a Wegman’s 1/2 mile from this location anyway.
Sorry , Omaha Steaks, but you lose.
