And I'll bet….in all of this meandering, pointless, time-hopping (show him escaping from the sarlac but then Jabba the Hutt is alive?) that they still don't explain what was the point of Boba taking that potshot at Luke in Empire.
I think they should have beat you over the head with his past more –
"I've seen where crime and cruelty gets you – dead, maimed, replaced. I worked for hundreds of people, and their greed filled graveyards. Doing the honorable thing will be harder, but like the tree this stick was made from, it will last longer in this desert than anything around it – even the filthy sarlacc and terrible krayt dragon!"
Y'know, weaving the events from mando and fett into a cohesive theme about regrowth and community being stronger.
This was basically JoJo Golden Wind, but severely watered down.
I actually really liked this show.
Honestly I liked it quite a lot. Atleast the suspense it kept each episode worked. And the jokes were on point. Also maybe cause it appeals to selective meme lover in me with the like a bantha meme.
"Don't forget to tip your daimyo." Daimyo were Japanese nobles, higher than most peasants but still below the Emperor. So… there's that…
and this is why Obi-Wan Kenobi is gonna suck
2 months later I'm watching this again and this show still sucks.

Deep fake characters very rarely bother me. Like Luke in this show was no problem for me at all. Didn’t look weird or anything.
Maybe Leia in Rogue One weirded me out, but Tarkin didn’t.
I don't care that anyone says, that shirt he made Grogu was Bilbo's Mithril vest.
