FILM DESCRIPTION:
Robert McCall (Denzel Washington), a man of mysterious origin who believes he has put the past behind him, dedicates himself to creating a quiet new life. However, when he meets Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), a teenager who has been manhandled by violent Russian mobsters, he simply cannot walk away. Marton Csokas is a severely underated actor. The guy is a native hungarian who moved to New Zealand. He can use any accent in any films ive seen him in. He usually plays a psycho / crazy bad guy
most of his victims pretend to be thug men to look cool in front of him. they act in such a way merely to hide the fear in each of them. no need to pretend anymore, face death with cries of regret other than pretending to be cool. who knows there is forgiveness other than punishment. but, the bad news is he is denzel washington and we know he came looking for his prey from afar aboard a ship and boarded a train not to hear forgiveness.
It astounds me that Antoine Fuqua and Denzel could so successfully translate The Equalizer, but so badly screw up The Magnificent Seven.
Beyond badass. End of story.
Denzel Washington is a truely outstanding actor.

Denzel it’s a Masterpiece. Let’s not forget Nicolai’s actor tho. The guy is one of the best villains ever. His facial expressions, they polite way he answers, the calm in his voice. Amazing performance!

I can’t decide who has the deadliest death stare – Denzel Washington or James Gandolfini.
Denzel Washington is a brilliant actor. His work in Glory, Malcolm X, Philadelphia, American Gangster and especially Training Day mark him as an all-time great actor. I loved both Equalizers, but, seriously, he was in his early 60's when they made them and even the best camerawork couldn't hide that fact. The fight scenes were, sadly, unbearable to watch.
