  1. Been doing this for years …

  2. If someone buys power tools from the store then sells it online the warranty is gone

  3. I started working for Lowes when we had 165 stores and quit when we had 1500 , I used to buy EVERYTHING when it was in clearance back when we didnโ€™t carry anything over so I would go to all the stores in Missouri and buy everything .
When Case knives went to the blister packs all the box Case knives were clearanced out and I bought over 500 pocket knives for 2 dollars apiece , I would buy all the table saws , all lawn mowers and then have auctions

  4. I think Mitch Hedberg had a skit like this where he gets a good deal on pop, then he starts thinking he can sell pop…

  5. Bull shit, time is money, the time that you spend on doing what he is saying eats up your profit.

  6. Seems like these folks have to much time not working,,, going by HD and Lows every day

  7. Did not mention asking clerks/managers to override system and allow discounts like Veterans discount to apply to blocked products. Extra 10% can really move the needle gaming a wee bit further.

  8. Boxing and shipping items Iโ€™ve sold online is a huge timesuck.

  9. Dills? DLLs? Dhills?

  10. Thank for showing everyone really awesome of you and I'm being sarcastic ruin a good thing for ppl

  11. I'm all about the warranty, not saving 9 bucks. Think people

  12. This doesn't work. I always go to the clearance end caps at HD. Yesterday, I was scanning over an endcap and started chatting with an employee who commented about the endcap clearances, "what do you think we do when we get in every morning". I've found a few good deals, but mostly it is picked over by employees or others who happen to be there when it is put out.
And on the website, anytime I come across a deal that is like 70%+ off, it is always sold out.

  13. You can't just sign up to Amazon like you do with ebay.

  14. nah then you have to ship it killin ur profit

  15. eBay and other seller sites also charge $$$ to sell tools. It may be 15% on EBay.

  16. Lowes can GFT they just let one of my friends go after 23 years working for them!
thats what your service and being loyal to them will get you …..

  17. Lmao can't even say millwaukee correctly!!! And this is supposed to be a tool channel, hahahahaha. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข

  18. Bet you probably didn't know that ryobi, rigid, and millwaukee are all owned by the same parent company and they are classed as good, better, and best – respectively!

  19. Well, they WERE, but now 525K people have watched this video. ๐Ÿ˜›

  20. Like you mentioned, many donโ€™t realize that if you didnโ€™t buy your Ridgid tools from Home Depot, itโ€™s only the standard 3 year warranty- not the Lifetime LSA (Limited service agreement).
Being that Iโ€™m avoiding having batteries and chargers for a zillion brands, I stick to just 2 brands- Ridgid 18v and Milwaukee M12 – thatโ€™s it.
I also look for the green tag โ€œspecial buysโ€ but watch out in some of those because it could be a lessor quality tool like brush vs brushless.

  21. you didn't even mention the seller's fees. You just mention how much they made before taking out the actual cost and shipping fee and the amazon fee. This is that tricking people to sell it. Because this video is obviously don't have value. I once sell it one the amazon. And realized that after all fees, cost of the merchandise, I am actually LOOSING money. Not even making money. For each item I sell, I am loosing at least $10 dollars because of the fee and shipping.I might just give it away. Let say, You buought a Ryobi for 50% off. But your amazon fee, credit card transaction fee is adding up. You bought a ryobi for $50. See it for $30, Making $20. But the shipping is $15 the amazing fee is $5 and the credit card transaction fee is $5. The materials for shipping is maybe $2. You end up paying $7 to sell the item. Who will want to do that? These types of videos NEVER tell you all the hidden fees. They told you how much that sold or make from amazon. They didn't tell you how much the amazon, the credit card company are going to charge you. Please be careful.

  22. Tell you what, man, this is how I get all of my DeWalt batteries. People buy the combo packs, then split them up and sell each piece separately on ebay. It's beautiful. Everybody wins.

I win as a buyer because I get things for less than I'd otherwise have to pay. The seller wins because he makes a few bucks. Heck, even Lowes wins…because they are selling originally at the price they want.

Now, downside: If you buy on ebay, you are probably not going to get the warranty. Some folks don't care about that, so for them…no worries at all. For me, this is the reason I very rarely buy the actual tools this way. But for batteries?

If you are getting 5, 8 and 10 AH batteries for 30, 40, 50 bucks apiece, does a warranty really matter? I have never gotten a bad one, but even if I did…who cares about a warranty of a $30.00 battery?

It's a truly beautiful system, in my opinion.

  23. people that do successful retail arbitrage must have huge volumes.. If I'm buying something for resale, I need a good 10:1 ratio on purchase and potential sale price to makeup for the headache of dealing with scambay. I generally sale online to get rid of stuff, period

  24. They "Gov"are going digital July 1st. All transaction will be monitored. So this , with all freedom we nit be permitted.

  25. I seriously doubt that you could make "thousands of dollars" doing this – looks like the times it would work out, would probably equal the times you couldn't sell the product… ๐Ÿ™‚

  26. DTO is the best place to buy tools to resell. Example I just bought a brand new Homelite 26cc straight shaft string trimmer for $65 + a Ryobi drill driver and impact driver combo with two batteries and charger and bag for $50 + $15 shipping for all three. FedEx ground so it takes a couple days longer, but one price for shipping. If you are not looking there to buy tools, you need to look there first.

  27. Lol remember all those scoot and looting in all the stores across America. Well, here are your deals ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  28. If your not making at least $10 profit then itโ€™s not a good way to make money. You have to pay to sell your items. Youโ€™ll be working over 40 hours a week. Plus your on call 24/7

  29. Or just steal the Tools and make more money !!!!!! Prosecute all thieves !!!

  30. The problem with selling on eBay, and Amazon is that they take a rather heft commission percentage of the sale. After they take their fees, these sellers don't make any money…If they do come out on top, it's literally pennies, maybe a few bucks per transaction. It's a lot of time invested in drop shipping for a few bucks on eBay. I tried this years ago. You have to be real dedicated, and be selling items that quickly sell on a daily basis for this to amount to any real income for the seller.

  31. My man just said Mill-wahck,uh

  32. THEY ARE NOT DOING THAT
THAT IS STOLLEN GOODS FROM MOB
THE TRUCKS ARE HIT IN CALI AND THEN SOLD ON AMAZON
    YOU ARE WRONG

  33. I thought most of that ebay stuff was stolen.

  34. In my area a few years ago lawn flags were out of stock region wide right before aeration season started. There oddly were plenty online at Amazon but 4-5x times the price. I ended up just making my own so the lawn service didnโ€™t destroy my sprinkler heads.
