Thanks for the firsthand info on the Metabo oscillating tool. My local Lowe's has it for $69.27 as its regular price, but I didn't know if it was any good. They definitely don't have any of those freebie battery kits in the store, so I guess I'd have to send in for it?
Got any experience with their 18v 1/4" impact wrench? They've got that one, tool only, for $75 (half off) in the back aisle. It's been sitting there forever. And the 18v 6 1/2" deep cut circ saw is also half off at $69.50.
I've had my Milwaukee brushed tools for over 12 years, using them every day! And they still work fantastic!!!!!!

Ran to my HD after seeing this. The hammers and pry bar was $7 with the brickseek bar code! Score!

Is it just me or did the kobalt starter set go up to $149? I checked several stores in my area (central Tx).
My local HD had 8 of hammer/pry bar sets in the overhead above the hammer section. They were marked down to $.01. I got the Milwaukee rep to get them down for me. He grabbed 2 of them. I got the other 6. The cashier monitor at self checkout assisted my transaction, noticed that they rang up as $.01, grabbed one set and left to find a manager to see if I was able to buy all 6 sets for $.06. She came back a minute later and told me that they can’t sell $.01 items. She then told me, “You have a blessed day. You can have the hammer/pry bar sets, but you can’t return them.” I said, “Thank you so much.” and walked out the door. Laughed in disbelief all the way to my car. Lucky me today!
