  2. I love a cool, crisp percale sheet because I am a very hot sleeper.

  3. I've never tried Persale before. It sounds like it would actually be good for me. 🙂

  4. Parachute sheets for me. Married to a Paratrooper so it's got to be parachutes for sheets. Like all the options Sarah discusses here though. Percale and sateen both seem awesome!

  5. is brooklinen a good brand for sheets? Thank you.

  6. percale is a weave style and Egyptian cotton is a form of cotton I prefer the crisp cool sleep of percale rather than the slickness of sateen , sateen has a shine that can fade a bit with washings.

  7. Thank you for this video. I'm moving into our first home at the end of this month and I've looked into beds and pillows. Now you've given me something else to do my research on. lol. Sounds like I would go percale from the info you provided.

  8. I love sateen sheets. They're definitely my favorite.

  9. Thanks for the info. I had no idea what the differences were between percale and sateen. I think I prefer percale, but I'd have to check if that's what I actually own. I think I pay more attention to what cotton goes into my sheets–I always look for ELS cotton.

  10. I grew up using sateen sheets, but then I slept on percale at a friend's house, fell in love with the crisp coolness, and never looked back.

  11. Love my percale sheets from Brooklinen, I bought them after one of your videos.

  12. Is one more benzoyl peroxide resistant than the other?

  13. I've spent most my life sleeping on cotton sheets. However, given this video's distinctions, I would be good trying either the percale or sateen sheets. If there is somethingg better, I am all for it!

  14. awesome & thank you for all…

  21. Great information 🌻

  22. I'm a hot sleeper, so I just ordered some percale sheets.

  23. Once I’ve tried Percale sheets, I’ll never go back to Walmart’s microfiber sheets. It doesn’t retain as much heat, especially if you live in Arizona. 🥵

  24. seems percale cotton-poly blend is the best choice. problem is, where the hell can one FIND percale sheets blend with a nice pattern? none of the online retailers seem to have anything interesting.

  25. Please do a review on silk bed sheets, duvets and comforters.

  26. 300 t c percale COTTON. IS THE BEST.
BY THE WAY.most hitels in USA use galf cotton half polyester sheets.not percale.

  27. I love sateen because I have dry skin. It’s so soft and silky, you never feel dry skin rubbing against the sheets creating that raspy feel with percale

    i perfer percale

  29. Hello Sarah,

I have been looking in to purchasing bamboo sheets as my partner and I live in Florida, where it is warm and humid year-round. The combination of cooling and anti-microbial properties seem like a definite win-win for us.

In my search I keep coming across the brand Cariloha, and I was wondering if you have had any experience with their products? Specifically, I’m looking at their sateen “Resort” sheets (as I do prefer the feel of sateen to percale). If you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated!

    All the best,

    – Connor

  30. I have Brooklinen sateen and percale. Feel similar. But my bamboo cozy earths are best 😉

  31. Human: Talks about sheets
    Cat: Help me, I'm stuck~
If not a cat then your furniture is becoming sentient.

  32. Hey, dirty people! Take a shower before you go to bed so your sheets don't stink! Nasty!

  33. I feel like you ripped off the other video

  34. Wow.. very great review. Thank you.

  35. Hi Sarah,I just Purchased, a set of Sferra sheets 600TC in sateen. extra long Staple cotton. They are fantastic! I have other brands but nothing compares to this set from Sferra.

  36. I love crisp, cool sheets, but hate wrinkles. Anybody else here miss the prevalence of poly-cotton blends from the 70s & 80s? The were perfect! Cool, crisp, comfortable, and wrinkle-free. And they wore like iron. I still have sets that are over forty years old! I can't stand this trend of Egyptian cotton! They're the scratchiest, hottest, most uncomfortable sheets I've ever owned.

  37. Is Sateen DIFFERENT from Satin??

  38. I bought myself some 40 year old NOS Montgomery Ward 50/50 pillowcases. FINALLY I can have the pillowcases of my childhood. And they are WRINKLE FREE, no iron percale! Thank God for polyester, too bad nobody uses it anymore.

  39. Any black percale fitted sheet recommendations? Not shiny

  40. Percale lovely super
